We are Claire & Alexandra, a mother-and-daughter duo from Thrapston, Northamptonshire who decided in the midst of the COVID-19 lockdown that we wanted start a business together. After some brainstorming, we realised that paraffin wax-based candles dominate the market and on supermarket shelves. Together, we formed Candlelilley: a handmade, hand-poured soy wax candle company with an array of different scents to suit all. We pride ourselves on our freedom to offer personalisation to create unique gifts, as well as bespoke wedding packages.

Claire is a retired midwife and stay-at-home mum of four who’s a bit of a perfectionist, likes pornstar martinis and anything sparkly! She dreams of spending holidays in the Maldives but will settle for anything right now!

Alexandra is currently a university student studying Criminal and Corporate Investigations when she’s not in the kitchen pouring candles or running the social media pages! She loves a nice gin & lemonade and spending lazy days in pyjamas.
